The events took place on April 24, 1950 on a stormy night, when Bruno Facchini, a worker in one of the factories in the city of Varese, in northern Italy, was taking a short break from work. It was then that he decided to find out if the electrical storm had damaged the wiring in the production room.
He stepped out into the factory yard, where a strong light source immediately caught his attention.

Another description of the UFO encounter by Bruno Facchini is very clear and understandable. He does not speak indirectly, but directly over a circular shaped body that was silently floating low above the ground. A source of light came out of it.
Facchini noticed a ladder hanging from the flying saucer.
Below him were two figures clad in coveralls that looked like diving suits. One of the beings also appeared on the perimeter of the plate and manipulated the piercing green light.
It looked like they were fixing something with a soldering kit. This was too much for the scared Bruno. My madonna! God, what’s going on here, Facchini said, since he may have become an accidental witness to a top-secret project at a nearby air base, for which he decided to flee the scene.
However, he only ran a few meters when an unknown force hit him on the back.
He fell to the ground. Shocked, he just watched as the mysterious creatures climbed the ladder back to the flying saucer. The light went out, the object began to move and quickly disappeared behind a curtain of darkness.
The next day, Bruno Facchini reported the incident to the police. In addition to the psychological shock, he also complained of a burn on his back.
A police investigator examined the scene and discovered fragments of an unknown alloy.
In 1953, the analysis of the fragment that he ruled was published, it was copper, tin and a mixture of other elements. The Italian press was following the event for decades. However, it was never repeated again.
