* Pilot Giancarlo Cecconi was returning to Treviso Air Base, Italy, in his G-91R fighter, after completing a reconnaissance mission on June 18, 1979 at 11:30 a.m.
* The Istrana Radar Center registered the presence of an intruder on its radar screens, and instructed Cecconi to approach an unidentified aircraft that entered the restricted area.
* The pilot activated the cameras and approached the UFO at a distance of 70 meters.
Airport ground staff observed the event with binoculars.
The Treviso control tower called Cecconi to warn him that the object was emitting a strange blue trail.
Cecconi searched for the intruder at an elevation of 7,000 feet, but did not pick up his trail.
The pilot had to descend to an altitude of 1,000 feet in order to approach and identify the object.
Cecconi made between seven and eight flights close to the object and on each occasion photographed the UFO with the fighter’s VINTEN camera.
The UFO was stationary relative to the G-91, but the radar center confirmed to Sesconi that it was moving, determining its course and speed.
What the pilot saw was a matte black cylindrical object that appeared to him to be a black “fuel tank” with a two “whiskered” fairing, and the presence of a small milky white or transparent “dome” located on top of it. a slightly flattened object.
The dome was shaped similar to those found on sports cars.
The sighting lasted about 5 minutes, Cecconi was able to take more than 80 photographs that always showed the object in the same frontal position, he was never able to take a picture of it from the side. It was as if the U.V.N.I. Always point towards the plane.
This is why the pilot believes that the object always maintained a defensive position since it never exposed its sides.
Cecconi made another call to get closer to the object and take another series of photos. However, when he did, the strange air vehicle had completely disappeared, “as if it had dematerialized.”
Seconds later, the Israna Treviso radar center told him: “we lost it! It’s not on the screen anymore!”
According to Ceconni, the UFO was a cylindrical object no less than eight meters long and no more than three meters in diameter.
The pilot commented that the object had a certain rigidity because when passing at almost 500 kilometers per hour, the object did not show any turbulence. Cecconi says the object didn’t vibrate or anything even as it passed about 100 meters away at that speed.
In total, he had taken more than 80 photos, although he failed to capture any completely from the side of the object (as previously and unambiguously stated), which appeared to him to be intentional movement by the unknown pilot.
Tens of years of silence and secret cases of real encounters have passed, such as this and many others.
What was this strange vehicle?
Is it extraterrestrial in nature or could it be the result of top-secret advanced technology?
Could it belong to an unknown terrestrial civilization that discreetly shares the planet with us?
