This is the account of an eyewitness who made an amazing video of a UFO being struck by lightning over Corsica while on vacation. September 8, 2016 this night was my last night in Corsica, just before the end of the holidays. A beautiful thunderstorm surprised the tourists around 21:00. Many people gathered to see huge lightning bolts crossing the dark sky.
Since the house I was renting was not far from this beautiful place, I quickly grabbed my camera and tried to catch some lightning flashes.
I sat up and put my elbows on my knees to be as stable as possible. Luckily, I wasn’t looking at the screen while recording: I noticed strange lights falling from the sky just after two lightning bolts.
Probably some rare phenomenon of ball lightning, as many have said … But I’m not sure. When I was checking my first video, lightning struck one of the lanterns, creating some kind of electrical discharge. The object then falls from the sky and looks like it’s on fire.
Then I noticed two big “explosions” in the second lightning. At first I thought: “Nothing impressive, probably lightning, the usual pattern.” But after watching the footage in slow motion, I saw something like a fast “light”. Walking in the direction of the storm. The object passed right through the lightning, causing a strange “electric explosion”.
Right now I can’t explain this phenomenon, I have no idea how it’s possible. Another explosion of this type is visible at 2:41, but I don’t know if it’s related to the first one. Who knows. But I am sure that there is a connection between the group of lights and this “explosion”.
After watching the second video and finding the same “falling UFO” and four/five other lights aligned above the lightning bolt, I started opening my editing program to type in explanations for the video. When I zoomed in to show some close-ups, I noticed a suspicious stationary object next to the lightning bolt. In the video, it really looks metallic due to the lightning reflecting off it. I’m even more confused about this. Maybe some kind of ship is spying on the area? Man-made or not, this object is also very strange.
I’m assuming that the two falling objects are UFOs (any other object) hit by impacts. Burning and falling in the air.
